The real-time write-back functionality of Palo allows processes such as planning, splashing and simulation. The multidimensional database is integrated in the familiar Excel environment. Beneath Excel there are several frontends available for Palo.
The integration with other applications throughout open interfaces (Java,. Net, PHP, C + +) is also possible.
Palo Worksheet Server
The web interface for Excel Reporting - anytime and anywhere
Using Palo and Palo Worksheet Server, web-based solutions for reporting, analysis and planning can be built. Secure access (SSL) by web browser is ensured, whereby no local Excel installation is required.
The development of the reports is done with the help of tables, charts and calculations in Excel itself. The advantage: The complete range of Excel functionalities (functions, formats, charts) and the short "Time to Solution" are kept in the web application. Worksheet Server applications can be integrated into your existing IT infrastructure. They are running on Windows and Linux / Unix and can be accessed via the database interfaces ODBC, SOAP, LDAP and SAP RFC online from different systems. The Worksheet Server Palo supports other databases, e.g. MIS Alea or Applix TM1 for creating Web applications.
Palo Supervision Server

The Palo Supervision Server is an event-triggered process engine, which controls and records the core business-critical processes such as planning, reporting and consolidation. The server acts as a central control- and process instance. The Supervision Server logs each data-input and also changes within the Palo Server. Other systems may be included in the consistency and plausibility checks.
The process engine sends data-driven alerts and rule-driven e-mail- or SMS-alerts and initiates defined corrective tasks or further calculation- or workflow-processes.
